To strengthen our Marketing department, we're looking for a language enthusiast who can make Cardmarket’s content feel truly local across French, German, Spanish, and Italian markets. As part of the Marketing Department, your mission is not simply to translate words, but to transcreate experiences. You will ensure that every piece of content retains its original intent, tone, emotional impact, and brand values, while resonating naturally with each audience and culture.

Your Responsibilities

  • Translate and localize content across multiple channels, ensuring all copy feels natural, authentic, and engaging for native-speaking TCG audiences in French, German, Spanish, and Italian
  • Maintain consistent use of official game, product, and card terminology across all translated content, collaborating closely with the Corporate Marketing, Games Management, and Support teams to uphold terminology standards
  • Adapt content to local market expectations while preserving the intent, tone, key messages, and objectives of the original English copy
  • Ensure all translations meet channel-specific requirements, including strict character limits and formatting constraints for Paid Marketing and other digital marketing channels
  • Translate and localize user interface elements with accuracy and consistency, supporting a seamless and intuitive user experience across all languages
  • Collaborate with fellow Marketing teams and support stakeholders across the organization on localization, communication, and content-related initiatives

Your profile

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a Translator
    • Professional translation certification or accreditation is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Fluent in English + at least two other languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian)
    • Excellent written communication skills with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Part of the TCG community is a preferred
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to details, tone, and context
  • Strong understanding of TCG nuances in terms of terminology, as well as localization best practices
  • Ability to multitask and receive multiple assignments at the same time, adapting to quick turnaround times and reliable in meeting deadlines while working independently
  • Presence in Berlin is required!
